Mr. Rosen’s practice consists of the representation of individuals and business entities in the areas of corporate and general business law, real estate law, and lending and private capital investments. His clients are involved in many different industries and range from start-up businesses and entrepreneurs to larger corporate entities and financial companies. Prior to entering the private practice of law in 1978, Mr. Rosen was employed by a large financial institution, where his responsibilities included being the General Manager of a venture capital subsidiary corporation.
Mr. Rosen has served on the boards of various local civic and arts organizations, including the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Dallas Symphony, the USA Film Festival, and the Sammons Center for the Arts. In addition, he served for several years as Chairman of the Independent Business Council of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the committee that represented over 80% of the Chamber’s approximate 4,000 business members.
Mr. Rosen has been a speaker on venture capital transactions at the University of Texas at Dallas Center for Continuing Education and Texas Christian University Division of Continuing Education, and on civic involvement at Opportunity Dallas. He is also the author of “The Federal Tort Claims Act-Discretion and the Air Traffic Controller,” Vol. 38:3, Journal of Air Law and Commerce, 1973. While at Southern Methodist University, he was an editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. Mr. Rosen also served as Chairman of the privately-held Corporation Practice Subcommittee of the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. Rosen was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1948.

Representative Engagements:
Represented a real estate developer in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of a $30 million mixed use, multi family, office and retail real estate development with a construction lender, a permanent lender and a REIT equity investor.
Represented an entrepreneur with the initial formation of a corporation for the manufacturing and distribution of sporting goods, and have subsequently acted in a general counsel capacity for the company as the company has grown through sales, licensing arrangements and acquisitions and is now publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange with revenues in excess of $80 million.
Represented numerous buyers and sellers of businesses in various industries, including avionics, information technology services, chemical control systems, automotive dealerships, specialty health care manufacturer, multiple apparel retailer, restaurants, fabricating manufacturer and travel services, ranging in transaction sale from less than one million dollars to multiple millions of dollars.
Represented financial institutions in construction loans, permanent real estate loans, working capital loans and asset based/factoring loans ranging from under one million dollars to multiple millions of dollars.
Represented numerous businesses in obtaining capital in private placement transactions of debt, equity and mezzanine and venture capital financings ranging in transaction size from less than one million dollars to multiple millions of dollars.
