Mr. Salmon focuses his practice on representing clients in a broad range of real estate matters, with 25 years of experience in the field. He has represented sellers and purchasers of unimproved land, shopping centers, multi-family apartments, farm and ranch property, office buildings and other commercial and industrial properties; he has represented borrowers, as well as lenders and other financial institutions, in connection with all aspects of real estate financing, including workouts, loan restructuring and foreclosures; he has represented owners and contractors in connection with all aspects of commercial and residential construction, including construction contracts, architect contracts, construction management agreements, and mechanic’s liens; he has represented landlords and tenants in office, retail, restaurant and industrial lease transactions, including ground leases; he has represented developers of commercial and residential development projects; he has also advised clients in connection with deal structuring, including entity selection and formation, and has significant experience in the formation, liquidation, and dissolution of general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, joint ventures, and corporations. Mr. Salmon has been Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1985.
