Cyndi Watson practices in the areas of corporate and business law, and estate planning and probate. She practices on behalf of local and national business entities, representing a variety of companies in various industries, such as hospitality, automotive, manufacturing and professional services. Ms. Watson serves as general counsel for many of these companies. She handles a wide range of corporate and business issues such as entity structure and formation; equity and asset acquisition and disposition; contract drafting and negotiation involving various parties and subject matter such as suppliers, customers, contractors, real estate, finance and intellectual property. She assists clients as well with employer issues and risk management; as well as succession planning and exit strategy. She also practices in the area of intellectual property with a focus on trademark law. Ms. Watson practices in estate planning including will and trust preparation, asset protection and other planning, and probate matters. Ms. Watson is involved with the Dallas A&M Club, the Texas Aggie Bar Association, as a Director, the Dallas Safari Club, and Texas Women's Shooting Sports. Ms. Watson received her bachelor's degree from Texas A & M University in 1987. She received her law degree from Southern Methodist University, cum laude, in 1997, where she was a member of the legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi and the Golden Gavel Legal Honor Society. A member of the Board of Advocates, she was a regional semi-finalist in the Giles Sutherland Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition in 1996. Ms. Watson was a contributing editor to Probate & Property, publication of the Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association, September/October 1997. Ms. Watson was born in San Juan, Texas in 1965.
