With 33 years of trial experience, Charles “Chris” Frederiksen has accomplished a feat that is becoming a rarity in the legal profession: He has served as lead trial counsel in over 100 jury trials held in both state and federal courts. A partner in the Dallas office of Glast, Phillips & Murray, P.C., Chris brought a wellspring of experience to the firm when he joined in 2004, having served previously as a litigation partner in the Dallas office of Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP. His civil litigation experience includes work in complex commercial matters, securities, antitrust, unfair competition and employment-related matters.

With an appreciation of the legacy of legal profession and a tireless practitioner of the art, Chris concentrates on business litigation and employment-related matters. He is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation and actively participates in several professional legal organizations. Clients have come to rely on Chris’s sound advice and vast experience in trial situations.

Chris received his B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas in 1970 and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University Law School in 1974. During law school, Chris was a member of St. Mary’s Law Review. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1974. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court and before all Texas districts of the federal court system. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section); State Bar of Texas (Litigation Section); Dallas Bar Association (Business Litigation and Employment Law Sections); and the Texas Bar Foundation.

• Represented Bell Helicopter/Textron in a case involving a U.S. government investigation of vendor fraud.
• Represented City of Texarkana in a case involving title to water rights and service contracts with neighboring cities.
• Represented S.A.I.C. in employment related litigation and qui tam lawsuit brought by U.S. Government.
• Represented Provident life Assurance Co. in multi-million dollar recovery in fraudulent transfer case.
